Rigby is a hopping place, no doubt. Come by for a tour of the log yard and we?ll throw in some good clean fun at no extra charge.
Potato Cannon Demos
During breaks from hauling or turning logs in our yard, one of the guys often breaks out his potato cannon. Stop by and we'll load her up for you. We only ask that you don't point it at our building or vehicles, everything else is fair game.
Bear World
Rigby is only 80 miles south of Yellowstone Park, but if you can't make it all the way, don't worry, we've got Bear World right here. Touring Bear World is like taking the Chevy Chase vacation version of seeing the venerable old park itself. You drive in, you wave at the bears, moose and elk from the comfort of your car, and then you go eat lunch. (See "Fancy Dining.")
Birthplace of TV
Rigby rocked the world! Well, one of our own, Philo T. Farnsworth, invented the first television way back in 1927. After that, they never could keep him down on the farm. After checking your logs, check out Philo's exhibit at the Jefferson County Museum.
Darrell Reveals Some Fishing Holes
We can't promise anything—that's why they call it "fishing" not "catching"—but the way Darrell figures it, southeastern Idaho is where trout fisherman dream of going when they die. Darrell doesn't put in much time at the office, but he'd be happy to steer you to some fine riffles and rapids on the nearby South Fork of the Snake River, the Henry's Fork, the Teton, The Fall River, the Madison . . . well, you get the idea.
